Quality Assurance

Overview

BioOregon Protein operates an active, comprehensive quality assurance program including all aspects of raw material sourcing, manufacturing, physical plant utilization, product specifications, and finished product inventory and disposition.  Specifically, critical quality program components such as Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Safety Preventive Controls by FSPCA, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Finished Product Traceability are on-going, documented and expansive.  Quality assurance at BioOregon Protein is focused on meeting or exceeding the expectations of our customers and consistent with general requirements of the pet food, aquaculture, animal feed, organic farming and fermentation industries.

BioOregon Protein is audited regularly for quality assurance compliance by public agencies such as the United States Department of Commerce (USDC), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), and private industry customers. Our company has always received evaluations of satisfactory or better.
